OTC Nasal Spray Abuse

Hopefully, this cessation will be easier than the smoking cessation. So far, it is most unpleasant. OTC nasal sprays should not be sold over the counter. I have been abusing these for many, many years and now, it is time to stop. I chose yesterday morning to begin, once again COLD TURKEY. I bought Sudafed 12 hour decongestant and Saline Nasal Mist and attempted to sleep. I think I may have slept for four hours at most. My sinuses felt like blocks of cement. I had an incredible urge to give in to temptation. I did not and it has now been 31 hours. I will take each day as it comes and be firm in my resolve to rid myself of this nasty habit once and for all. Then, I think I will be free of addictions. Of course, I could stand to lose 100 pounds.
